A wedding photo freezes a moment; a wedding film lets you hear it again — your father’s voice during the ardaas, the dhol kicking in at the baraat, the laughter during the jaggo that nobody could stop. Bajaj Films is a Jalandhar studio of photographers and cinematographers, and since 2017 we have been filming Punjabi weddings as stories, not just recordings. Wedding videography in Jalandhar, the Bajaj Films way
We film the way we photograph: quietly, close to the emotion, and with an eye for light. During the rituals we stay out of the way of your family and the granthi or pandit ji; during the celebrations we are right in the middle of the bhangra. The result is a film that feels like your wedding actually felt — not a stiff, staged production.
What we film
- Pre-wedding functions — the chooda and kalire, haldi and vatna, mehndi, jaggo and sangeet nights.
- Getting ready — cinematic bride and groom preparation, the sehra bandi and the final family blessings.
- The ceremony — Anand Karaj and the four laavan at the gurdwara, or the jaimala, pheras and sindoor for Hindu weddings.
- The celebration — the baraat and milni, the reception entries, speeches and the dance floor, through to the doli.

Most couples pair their film with wedding photography and a designed wedding album so the whole day is covered by one coordinated team — the photographer and cinematographer plan shots together instead of competing for the same angle.
Pre-wedding films & save-the-dates
A pre-wedding shoot is the one time you get to direct your own love story. We plan the concept, outfits and locations with you — from the fields and havelis around Jalandhar to hill-station shoots like our Dalhousie film above — and shoot in 4K so your pre-wedding video looks beautiful on a phone and on the big screen at your sangeet. If you need a save-the-date reel, we cut one from the same shoot.
Anniversary, birthday & family event films
Not every film is a wedding. We also film 25th anniversaries, first birthdays and family celebrations across Jalandhar, with the same care and the same edit quality. Ask us about combining a family film with a cake smash, maternity or newborn shoot.
Where we film
We are based at Charanjit Pura, Jatpura in Jalandhar and film weddings at palaces, resorts, hotels, farmhouses and gurdwaras across the city — Model Town, Urban Estate, the GT Road belt, Cantt and beyond.
